Account Information

When you register, we collect your email address, username, and display name. You may optionally provide a profile photo, cover image, bio, and location. Your email address is private; your username and display name are public.

Photos and Content You Upload

Photos you upload are stored on our servers and displayed publicly on the platform. Photos may contain embedded EXIF metadata (camera model, settings, GPS coordinates). We extract and display this data to enrich photo pages. You are responsible for removing EXIF data from photos before uploading if you do not want it shared.

Activity Data

We record likes, follows, and comments you make on the platform. This data is used to power community features (like counts, follower counts, activity feeds) and to surface popular content.

Technical Data

We collect standard server log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. This data is used to maintain security, diagnose errors, and understand aggregate platform usage. We do not use this data to build individual profiles for advertising.

Cookies and Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in between page visits. This cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function and is deleted when you log out or close your browser. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

• Hosting infrastructure: Your data is stored on Hostinger servers. Hostinger processes data as a data processor under our instructions.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, we may disclose information to law enforcement or other authorities.
• Business transfer: If RichmondPix is acquired or merged, user data may transfer to the new operator under the same privacy commitments.

5. Public Content

Your uploaded photos, display name, username, profile bio, and activity (likes, follows, comments) are public by default. Anyone — including visitors who are not logged in — can view this content. Do not upload content you consider private.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and uploaded photos for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and photos within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve pending disputes.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings at richmondpix.com/auth/profile.php. To request full account deletion, email us at hello@richmondpix.com with the subject line "Delete My Account."

If you are a resident of California or the European Union, you have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

RichmondPix is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords and HTTPS connections. No internet transmission is 100% secure. Do not share your password with anyone.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
